What is Silan?

Silan is a syrup made from dates. Galilee’s Delicacy offers its customers two types of Silan products: (1) With added sugar; (2) Non-GMO Silan made from 100% steamed and pressed dates and containing no added sugars. Our Silan products do not contain preservatives, or food coloring, and are available in a squeeze bottle (14.1 OZ) or a jar (12.35OZ).

Where are your dates from?

Our dates grown in Israel, primarily in the country’s northern Galilee region.

Where is Galilee’s Delicacy Silan manufactured?

We manufacture our Silan in Israel.

What uses does Silan have?

Can you cook or bake with Silan?

Yes! Silan is the perfect partner for all kinds of proteins and roasted vegetables, and can be used as a substitute for sugars and honey to create sweet, yet succulent sauces, baked goods, and more.

Does Galilee’s Delicacy sell sugar-free Silan?

Yes! We sell 100% Date Syrup in a 350 gram/12.35 oz jar, as well as in a 400 gram/14.1 oz squeeze bottle, so you can choose the size and dispensation method that best meets your needs.

How should I store my Galilee’s Delicacy products once purchased?

Galilee’s Delicacy products should be stored in a cool, dry space that is away from direct sunlight. Once opened, these products should be refrigerated. Note that Silan does solidify in the refrigerator, but this does not mean that the product has gone bad. It is still just as sweet! Be sure to seal the jar or squeeze bottle well after each use, to prevent spills and messes.

What is the shelf life of Galilee’s Delicacy Silan?

Galilee’s Delicacy Silan has the following shelf life: Silan Date Syrup (Jar): 24 months. Silan Date Syrup (Squeeze Bottle): 18 months. 100% Date Syrup (Jar): 24 months. 100% Date Syrup (Squeeze Bottle): 18 months.

Where do you ship to?

Galilee’s Delicacy ships to locations throughout the continental US, Alaska, and Hawaii, as well as to Canada.

When can I expect my package to be delivered?

Galilee’s Delicacy offers same-day processing and shipping for all orders placed before 4PM. Orders placed after 4PM EST will be subject to next-day delivery (apart from on weekends and holidays). This does not include orders placed during promotional sales, as increased sales traffic may lead to slight delays in fulfillment (notification will be provided). Am I entitled to a free of charge shipment?

Any order over $50 being shipped to a US address is eligible for free shipping using the ground service of our choice (takes about 3-6 business days). All other orders below that amount will be charged according to rates applicable for various locations across the US.

Where can I buy your products?

Galilee’s Delicacy products are available for purchase on the Galilee’s Delicacy websiteshop, as well as from additional online retailers.

Do you sell Galilee’s Delicacy in Canada?

At present, Galilee’s Delicacy does not have any stores in Canada, but we do ship website purchases to Canadian addresses

Do you sell Galilee’s Delicacy in the UK and Europe?

We currently do not sell Galilee’s Delicacy products in the UK, or in Europe.

The package I received is leaking. What should I do?

While Date Syrup can leak, especially under the summer sun or in the hands of a less-than-careful shipping carrier, at Galilee’s Delicacy, your satisfaction is our satisfaction. My package hasn’t arrived. What should I do?

When a Galilee’s Delicacy package ships, a tracking number is sent out to the buyer. If you did not receive a tracking number, or if you are experiencing any other issue with your delivery, please email us at info@moraz-usa.com, or call us at 1-866-956-7558 so we can track your order and provide you with the answers you seek.

There’s a problem with my order. What should I do?

Can I track my order?

Your order details, tracking number and status can all be found and monitored via your Galilee’s Delicacy account. In addition, you can use the tracking number provided upon completing the checkout process, to track your order’s status on USA Post’s website, from the moment your order has left our warehouses.
